Default Florida fluids

My 95 993 is retiring with me from New England to Florida. Car was mainly driven spring-fall but now more year long in Florida. Have used 15-50W since acquiring the car. Stay the course? 65k miles on the car

The funniest thing is that temperature in Florida rarely, if ever, gets above temperature in Boston in the summer. So I would not change oil type, no.

I live in South FL, and I recently did my oil change with 15W-50, and the car confirmed that she loves it.

15W-50 in TX for the last 20 years, never had any overheating issues in the summer or anytime.

Are you actually considering going to a lower viscosity oil in a hotter place?
