And now it's up for sale in LA...

This Speedster was a serious several years ago - to the point where I just got sick of seeing it.
Now that it's resurfaced after a few years I'm quite glad to see it again. Best of luck to the next owner...!

i think we all feel the same about seeing this car over the years. i have to say, with all the effort put into it and their attention to the details, i'm a bit surprised the couple that built it let it go.
i wonder what the overall price tag on that project was originally?

I think the 964 or a 993 speedster is just not the best look for the car. Sort of looks like an aftermarket design hack where the rear cap adds nothing to the design language of the car.
Just one guys thoughts,
Andy :-)

Type 540 is a speedster and what it should look like. Type 993 is the greatest air cool series, as it should be. Simple

I was sitting here smoking a cigar drinking whiskey and thinking about this car and open up Rennlist! I followed the build and loved the finished product to then be constantly spammed with it to ad nauseam. Loved it with 996 T wheels, hated it with Fuchs, and love it again with current wheels. What’s the selling price?

remember it at Hershey back in the day?
Honestly, a lesser build quality that the 9M versions…a little suspect in a couple of areas, but beautiful none the less.
Those were the days here, on Rennlist, for both the good, bad, and self aggrandizing….
CHROME WOULD PAY TOP DOLLAR FOR THIS IF IT INCLUDED THE BEDAZZLED BABY PHAT BAG WITH IT…..just saying.

Chrome. Now there is a name for the ages. Wasn't there a John Ireland or similar that spammed the 993 forum all the time?

Me too! I used to see Karen and Jager when they would come to LA. And yeah, he just ghosted once the car was gone. I saw it a bunch of times and it looked good to me, but after it sold I wondered if the PPI turned up anything out of the ordinary.
