Anyone have experience with above suspension setup from Carnewal? Have a 1997 911C2 manual on 18” turbo twist wheels with stock suspension.

I've run Bilstein HD and RoW 030 springs for the last 12 years and about 30K miles. Not from Carnewal. However, your question... what is your question? What are you looking for, exactly?

The Bilstein B6XT has 30 mm extra thread over the standard B6 had Bilstein shock….if you didn’t get them from Carnewal they aren’t XT I think they proprietary to him. So thanks….

You are welcome, I guess. Still don't understand what your questions is, so good luck with that.

The M030 springs offer just slight lowering capability, compared to the lowering range of the B6XT’s, I believe. I have the B6XT’s from Gert, combining them with H&R lowering springs….eventually. Loss of faith/trust with my previous go to 993 shop, cost me this season for the change. My existing ride height is below row, near RS height…but the existing H&R SS monoball set up is beyond its useful life. That and I’m tired of beating both the car and myself up, on the drives.
If Gert put the combo together…based on your desired outcome, you’ll be good to go.

Thanks for the valuable input. According to Gert the 6BXT/M030 offer up to 40-45 mm lowering, which is well below ROW ride height. From what I’ve been able to glean from various forum discussions ROW height is 25 mm less than USA. Also looking at the B8/M033 combo, which would give me 30mm lowering and a more comfortable ride. My original Monroe’s are shot, input would help me make informed decision, thanks.

You can get the B6XT in US, Tirerack carries them.
I am running them on my 96 with stock US springs and if you are asking how they ride, my opinion is that it’s noticeably firmer than stock. Wife doesn’t like it.

My experience has been that Bilstein because they are a gas shock is that the ride tends to be more controlled. I’m not looking for a lot of lowering, so I’ve decided to go B8 with the MO33 springs.
