I bought one of these to free up some space. It works incredibly well, and it's small enough to easily fit into the Smugglers Notch.

Can this compressor connect to the cigarette lighter to charge?

My spare tire kit included a battery powered Ridgid air compressor. So much better and faster.

Hi Nile,
I agree. Alternatives are discussed at the bottom of this page:

Thanks, Andy! I own several race jacks just like the ones pictured there, one of which is currently in the trunk of the 993. It was supposed to be there on the fateful night a year ago but I left it in the race appliance that day. Knew the stock jack is useless and dangerous but thought that I can at least get the car up in an emergency... nope. Do have a Japanese scissor jack somewhere, so maybe I'll carry that. None of them are fun to use after a decent aluminum hydraulic jack.

Yes, like the original Porsche pump, it has a 12v socket that plugs into the lighter and enough cord to reach each four corners of the car.
