Never in my life did i think i'd drive a paddle shifter car- till i drove the 458..i was going for a 991 GT3 manual, but actually didn't like it, then i tried a PDK and it was too perfect, seamless as if you're not even really shifting , then tried the 458 and the DCT (its not automatic) was very engaging & mechanical feeling, it shifts with drama..i never drive the car in Auto mode of course ...i probably shift that car more than i shift a manual ..again i never thought i'd be saying this but i don't miss a manual at all driving the 458.

Different strokes for different folks! I have driven a few 458s and we actually have a PDK equipped 992 but I hate that transmission. I'm sure I am the only person in the world but I actually prefer a traditional torque converter auto to a DCT but both are very, very, very much poor substitutes to a manual for me and I can't mentally put a car in the same category if it is an automatic. But that's just me and I know a lot of people love DCTs and even prefer them to manuals and I don't judge.

bbs993tt Ha, no! A rented garage down the street served as temporary lodging whileI figured out how to squeeze two households or the junk into one.

rsabeebe The bongos made the cut, the 25-year-old Tailor-Made Bubble Burner driver made it to the Goodwill as well as most of the other treasures in this photo!

Man, there are some beautiful garages out there. I am grateful for what I have, but I am a tad envious of some that have been posted. I added the VCT (Vinyl Composite Tile) 16 years ago. It's been a labor of love. I just cleaned it up this week and swapped out the old mirrors for some new ones.

Compact but efficient. Done several motor drops, etc.

what kind of floor mat is yours? I've been looking for one. Does it hold up well? Thank you.

Nothing fancy, not elegant--just a working garage space with some good toys in it.

I wish….it’s an early Beck, but it was originally owed by Ewan McGregor which is why you can see the OBI WAN plate in the background. Here are few pics
