Could you please take a close up picture of the EU stamp, E1 or ECE or whatever is molded into the housing, which will be looked at when doing the mandatory safety inspections.
Thanks.

I think it looks fantastic on your car from the rear. Like something out of battlestar galactica.
On the rear 3/4 view, to me it dd not flow with the lines of the turbo twist wheels.
Perhaps something like a Gunther Werks style 3 piece wheel or the ones on Morimoto's Irish Green publicity car, to bring it all together.
Then again maybe since we all saw it first on the Gunther Werks, car, the expectation is for the car as a whole, to have a retromod vibe

Customer service has been remarkable from point of order, delivery and dealing with any issues. I emailed them about this and got a response immediately confirming a replacement unit would be sent to me in the uk and they would cover all costs including taxes and duties. Problems happen, its how you deal with them that matters and so far they have been excellent.
the internet is quick to bemoan and criticise but sometimes you just have appreciate and acknowledge when someone is trying to offer a quality product and service.

I don’t care if they get it right in the end. I have 3k worth of defective products they failed to get right and argued with me that I was wrong. I own a manufacturing company. You can’t beta test on your customers.

i presume you do not have the same consumer protection as we do in the eu then as that would be an easy distance selling or if paid by credit card s70 (in the UK) refund if proven.

I can only base my comments on my own experience which to date has been of the highest quality.

As an update on the replacement lights from the uk, i got an email invoice showing the current selling price and 100% credit a few weeks ago ie to generate a new order number. I then received a email earlier this week from UPS confirming they had receipted a shipment for me. Today I got an email from the supplier confirming despatch and UPS confirming delivery to my door tomorrow. By this point on the original order I had been noted of Import and tax fees to pay prior to or on delivery. This time they have not asked for anything.

So it looks like my replacement lights will be delivered tomorrow with zero cost to me.

I’ll hopefully get chance at the weekend to compare the differences between the two sets I’ll then have. I was expecting this thread to have been updated already from the USA with people already in receipt of a replacement set but it appears not ?

They generated a replacement invoice for me over a month ago. Nothing has shipped yet.

I just got notice that my replacement set (red tails) is being shipped.
I never even installed the first set, so I have two brand new sets, LOL

Boom!

I have to say it's been the best customer service experience ever.

I'll hopefully swap over this weekend and document the differences between the two units

...aand the replacement set just arrived. I have to say I'm impressed that Morimoto stepped up to replace the units, even though I didn't even complain about it (didn't even unpack/attempt to install the old units yet). They were totally proactive about this situation.
