Default Front and rear bumper options for 993 Targa

Hi everyone - I'm looking to do some different bumpers on the 1997 Targa I acquired recently. I am hoping for some input on all the currently available bumpers. I love the Ruf one but the front bumper seems very difficult to acquire and rear bumper is most likely discontinued. I see that the following bumpers are viable.

1) turbo
2) RS
3) GT2
4) turbo ROW
5) Ruf (maybe)

please add to this list and please include links to suppliers if possible. Thank You!

I would go with euro turbo front and euro rear. It looks very clean unless you plan on adding the RS or Clubsport wing. In that case, use the bumper with the proper front aero to match.

ok cool. I do not plan a giant wing. I do plan on a subtle ducktail. Still looking for all ducktail options so I can land on one that I really like.

for the Euro TT bumper kit do you guys recommend this vendor? https://www.carnewal.com/products/99...r-993-C2-or-C4

Gert Carnewal has a stellar reputation on this forum; I’ve ordered from him multiple times & have a couple future purchases in mind. I’m sure that many will chime in with the same positive sentiment.

IMO less is more. Spend some time thinking through your mods and how they will harmoniously live together.

After months of thinking it through, I went with just a euro turbo bumper on my nb with no aero. A little bit more aggressive front end, but clean on the rest of the car. In hindsight, the only change I would've made is shave the headlight sprayers.

Yes on turbo bumper conversion. Classy and subtle.

Yes on Carnewal as a source for anything P you need.

Unnecessary on rear bumper purchase. Use your bumper and eliminate bumperettes and fill holes. Viola you’ve got a NB turbo look bumper.

Is there much a difference with the rear bumper? Hard to tell from pictures online

I did order this: https://www.morimotohid.com/porsche-...ogs?quantity=1 as well as the clear Euro side markers. I definitely want to delete the bumperettes. Do you know what I need to do in order to delete them?

I agree, no reason to change rear bumper. I went with the front euro turbo bumper, but also added an RS spoiler.

What do you guys think of the Turbo S front chin spoiler?

The Turbo S front lip looks better with the appropriate aerokit rear wing.

If you plan to lower the car, the front will look aggressive enough. Also, you can always add the lip later.

I lowered the car to ROW specs then bought Aero 1 wings , turbo ducts/ fog lights to give front a different look then for rear, adding Carreras S split engine grills and big ovals to make it a little more aggressive from that view. All parts OEM are now getting painted. Great service and advice from Gert at Carnewal.
