No VDO on it?

I think it’s the angle. Still figuring out the faces. Same owner since the car was 1 year old and he didn’t change them?

I don't know the answer. Except, my gauge face is identical from what I can tell in every regard except the missing "VDO" (and mine is black). Same fonts. Same spacing. Numbers located in the exact same places, etc.
As a data point, here is a white gauge face for sale - LA Dismantlers, with an OEM 993 part number and no "VDO":

That makes me guess OEM (but I am guessing).
Good luck with your search.

Thanks Mike…I appreciate you looking!
I have the window sticker and it doesn’t show aluminum gauges. However, the dealer installed carbon fiber dash and door panels when new, maybe they did the gauge faces too?

Thanks Pettelli! Appreciate the help! Owner is in his mid 80’s and bought the car when it was 9 months old. He didn’t change them?

Probably done at the dealer same time as the carbon fiber upgrade. The VDO & aluminum inner ring may not have been available at the time. Factory option on my car was “Aluminum & Chrome package: Pipes, door sill, and aluminum instrument dial”

What is the option code for that on your sticker?

I don’t have the original window sticker only the Certificate of Authenticity COA. The description was from the the COA. I’m the 2nd owner but the car was purchased new at the local dealership. It’s never left the area.
The option code from the label under the hood & manual
X54 Oval Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipes
X70 Door Entrance Panels (threshold) in Stainless Steel with Porsche Insignia
X71 Aluminum Painted Instrument Dials with Brushed Chrome Inner Rings

Take four….do you know who makes the version that I posted?

Agree with pettelli. Mine has the X71 also. The missing vdo is the first clue, the missing inner chrome ring the second. The chrome ring being internal is quite subtle. I really didn't notice them until I sat in a car that had those gauges and the look has grown on me. Mine is a euro car so I have kms only. I really wish the euro ones had mph inset (like the us ones have the kph inset) so I had something to go by. Eventually will probably try to get a US oem silver gauge but if memory serves correct the turbo is different to the NA cars and going to be that much harder to find.

Thanks guys. I’m likely going to pass on the car because it has been sitting for a while and really needs to be serviced and inspected. The seller’s agent wants full market price without doing this. It’s never had any suspension, steering rack or engine leak repairs performed in the past and even though the miles are low at 29,000, I am almost certain some work would be needed.
