Default Oil Cooler Leak

Good day all, i am sorting out my new to me 993 C2 and found what appears to be an oil leak. The bumper was removed for refinishing and below is what we found. I haven't seen much discussion about these leaking and was wondering if it might be leaking at the connections to the oil lines.....

Had a leak in the same area last fall. Started noticing a few drops of oil on the ground under that front corner. Replaced the cooler and all is well. It’s not too bad of a job and you get to clean out all the crap that has accumulated around the cooler.

Sorry for your troubles. To answer your question, it could be the lines/connections, but it’s very common for these oil coolers to develop a leak. Once you access the lines you’ll know for sure. Replacement is relatively easy if you have a friend to assist (breaking the lines is a bit of work). Great article Here from Pelican.

@rocket94 as a while you are in there with the bumper off, might be a good time to assess the condition of the resistors on the oil and AC cooler fans. Part #993-616-521-02.

I have 2 listed in the Marketplace if you need them.
