Another consideration is the method of securing the mats as well as availability of colors.
Lloyd's are secured through a pre drilled hole and attach to the factory stud on the floor with a threaded plastic cap. The mats purchased from Porsche attach to the seat rails.
Lloyd's Mats are available in cashmere. Porsche mats are not available in cashmere.
Lloyd's has a better selection of colors, although no Porsche logo.
Porsche has a limited selection of colors, provides the Porsche logo, without color contrasting logos.
As I had written in my earlier post, Lloyd's Mats are the exact mats previously sold , less the Porsche logo.
I believe the Lloyd's mat to be a thicker carpet than the Porsche mats do you agree. Whether that is a positive or negative is open to debate.
To the OP... apologies for the delay here but I finally remembered to dig out the mats today when I was at my storage unit.
1) The lettering on the driver's side mat is not as dirty as I recalled. It actually looks very, very close to the passenger side. It's been a few years and I only remembered now that I did spot clean them.
2) As one would expect from a used set of mats, there is a slight wear mark (circled) on the drivers side mat from the heel of the foot, otherwise, the drivers mat has no other damage.
3) One of the rear mats (as previously mentioned) has four slight singe/scorch/burn marks from what I believe was the previous owner smoking a cigar in the car. Note: I'm not sure if it is the right rear or left rear mat (I may have oriented them incorrectly for the pics)
4) There are no other marks/damage on the mats. Anything else that appears to be a mark in the photos, is actually just from the mats being stacked on top of one another for a period of time. Overall these are in very nice condition for a set of used mats.

Didn't know they were not available.....had these Lloyd's for some time....a little darker than cashmere beige so I went with cocomats... held up well in sealed package...
Got these 12 years ago to save the "Porsche" logo originals. Lloyd's custom made these and they were very reasonable. Should be someone who can do a new set...
PSA: I've got a 20yo set of Lloyd mats, black with "Porsche" in red lettering; four mats total. Old, stiff, and shows their age. Vacuumed they will look decent, but a shampoo will do much ...or perhaps dye to freshen them up? So if anyone wants em, cover the shipping and they're yours. Let me know if ya want pics, of course.
