Twist wheels for nb 993
#2
Those are 996 fronts, but I believe they will fit. I’d wait for 8 inch fronts.

...you'll be waiting a very long time for 8J.
7.5J are not '996' wheels. Here they are in a later TSB.
And on the car, nobody could tell the difference.

They are in a later TSB after the 996 was released...wonder why?

Because SM hadn't made any 7.5J fronts when the earlier TSB was released - they didn't exist.
So even though the 7.5J were approved, by Porsche, for the 993, Rennlisters still look down their noses at them. I thought we'd moved on from that.

If you search that part number it will come up as a 1999 996 wheel. While it may fit a 993, one was never delivered with that wheel - as you said, they didn't exist. So, If someone cares about that sort of thing, they will want an 8 inch wheel. If not, go ahead and use 7.5 inch fronts. I'm sure 996 seats might fit also, but I wouldn't want them in my 993 either.

Bolt them on. Thats the cheapest solution in todays market.
I stored my car on winters with those.
As said earlier, finding 8 inch front solid is like finding a Needle in a Haystack.
I switched to 996 BBS wheels long ago. Yes 8 inch fronts Offset 50 and NBody Rear offset of 65

Hollow spokes end with 136-00
Been Discontinued for a Decade
The only people who care about 7.5 and 8 inch wheels on the road are purists and collectors
Still run a 225 tire which is 8 inches wide
Track guys want more bite, so really need 8.5 is preferred
But seriously unless you have a collector car, garage queen not many actually drives their cars these days
Guess its bragging rights at cars n coffee
SAD
