Default Riviera Blue, Einar Garage in Houston

I recently picked up this gorgeous 993, early production Pre-OBD1 Press Car in Riviera Blue. The car came from Germany 🇩🇪 to Houston, Texas.

Einar Garage took care of me from PPI to getting me out the door ready for a 2,500 KM road trip back to LA.

Einar and his team are brilliant, his PPI is absolutely world-class!! Very thorough, results delivered in a phenomenal web portal. His knowledge and standard of care are just brilliant.

When I picked up the car in Houston, he didn’t let me drive out until every fuse is checked, every bolt is tested, oil temperature and level are stable, AC blowing cold, belts are changed, etc….

The ingenuity of this team is what makes me love the Porsche experience and dealings the most. Thank you Einar Garage and team for being world class!

Love these guys so much I want to send them cars from LA. True gentlemen and daring humans with incredible Luft knowledge! 🚙💨

Sweet! Factory Speedline's too. More pics please!

Funny how Riviera Blue looks much darker indoors. Makes it look like Mexico Blue.

Also, if you don't mind sharing, we'd would love to know what this traded for (and mileage/km) in a rare color outside the crazy world of auction sites like BaT.

Congrats! That's truly one of the coolest 993s I've seen! Wheels, color combo, sunroof delete... INSANE!!!

As for ride height, I would have assumed it was at ROW, but it looks a little higher to me. Whatever. It's awesome, I hope you enjoy it and I hope to see it around LA soon!

This… beautiful car! The sunroof delete has me drooling. Also surprised with the ride height for ROW, but easy to sort this car out along with the exhaust, and wow!

Nice!
no basket handle, no sun roof and it looks to have the rear widow spoiler added as well as the RS wheels

what does pre OBD1 mean?

even 964s were OBD1, 3.2 Carrera were the last to not have a diagnostic port.

Default RE : Ride Height

I have always setup my cars with PSS10. I will tell you that this one is a big struggle. I don’t know what they do to press cars with power kits. But that car drives like a dream. So good that I just don’t want to compromise the drive and comfort quality on its OEM suspension just for the looks of Ride Height. As such, it is likely that I will leave her alone!

I just came out of the canyons in Sedona and her handling was brilliant.

thanks, the exhaust is a germany hand crafted system. It sounds stupid good. May change the tips back to OEM.
