Default Earth Day - Drive your 993

It's Earth Day. Chances are your 993 gets better gas mileage than any other vehicle you own. Even if it doesn't, drive it anyway!

Also today, albeit less celebrated, is World "Flip Off A Prius" Day.

Im driving my Polycom video conferencing unit today to Denver and Seattle. Have to drive it to Portland late this afternoon.

But I do have to drive this afternoon---damn, I may have to shower before noon.

Now you can flip off all the Prius owners you want but telecommuters get the last laugh regardless of what car you drive.

Don't they just flip over by themselves?

I wonder if "telecommuters" emit more "smug" than Prius drivers?

(SouthPark reference, purely a joke, please take it as one)
BTW, I work from home many days of the week... hopefully that is enough disclaimers

Around 10 am today a bunch of us enjoying our brief chance at the commute lane come upon a Prius holding up traffic at 65. No need to spend money on studies why road rage exists.

As an Environmental Scientist by schooling and trade, does celebrating Earth Day at the track make me conflicted??? Just curious if I should get over the guilt, or if the Hail Mary's were enough (I was reared Catholic, too. Imagine my level of guilt!!)

It just so happens I am a self-appointed priest for environmental sinners.

We share a few gallons of race gas, and all is forgiven.

Today I drove my 993, my Prius, my Mercedes and my R1200R. I think I flipped off myself twice today.

Is it true that there is an Earth Day Parade, where they drag a tethered, bloated balloon of Al Gore through the streets...wait, maybe it really is Al?
