Talking First mod...what should it be?

Well, I finally did my first mod.

I needed a new clutch and decided to go for the RS LWF.

What a difference. The car has a whole new personality.

Second > Third shifting there is no power lag anymore that I can feel, it just gets up and goes. I'm not thinking to myself "come on baby, lets go..." anymore.

The throttle response is great, the sound is great.

Now, the second mod? Hmmmm...

No matter what you do don't touch the engine of a white car. I hear they are special.

Hi Radar again,

Yes - the engine of my white car was special. It still is....

Hi Olav,

What do you have for suspension? Also - did you chip your car after the LWF - or adjust the ISV?

Best to you,

John

I second the motion.... Short Shifter. Low cost, easy to do, you feel it every time you drive, more comfortable shifts.

Best of Luck on the slippery slope...

Definitely suspension. The results will be far better than any short shift kit.

Well since this exact post was recently on the board for about 30 replies an aswer is still clear in my memory.
1) Rennlist Membership. I see you still don't have one after 2½ years. WTF
2) Suspension
3) Droving school or DE ( Start by doing a few AX events)

Congrats on the LWF and RS clutch. I hear it is a night and day difference mod.

Yeap..I agree with Matt. A good coilover suspension will transform the car. Then hit the track

I see that you're located in Los Gatos, CA (Ranked 31st in the Top 150 Wealthiest Communities in US.....here is the link Top 1000 ZipCodes ) and with 183 posts......
If I were you....my next mod would be a paid Rennlist Membership...
How's that to show support of this great place of ours.
But that would be just my $0.0000000002
