oh by the way, here is a shot of my C2S -- ROW M030 w/Bilstein HDs and Hergesmeirs (never can spell it right) lowering collars on the front...

i am definitely in the camp now that would buy the Gert version with lowering threads if I could do it over... the collars work fine, but why have to go through the extra step...Gert has the right ones ready to go...

Why are you thinking about replacing your HR's with RoW's.
I was thinking about doing the opposite. Are you unhappy with the HR's? and why?

Jonathan,

Your car looks great, and I wouldn't regret your decision one bit. Remember that the Bilsteins you bought (I presume from Hergesheimers) are US with US warranty. Now I hope you never have to actually "use" that warranty, but if the occasion arises, Mark and Blstein will take car of you (Bilstein is in SoCal), but with the Euro Bilstein you must send those back to Germany (R&R plus wait time). To me, the potential hassle is enough to turn me to the US Bilstein (actually it DID when I bought PSS9s a few years ago). Feel good; you got a good product and expert installation and attention to detail (I assume Mark did the job?).

go with pss9's. wish i had. if you are doing springs and shocks together, don't be penny wise and pound foolish as i was. If you intend to push your car some. all the ride height adjustability you could ask for and the damping as well when you want to push it.
rcwelch.... very nice.

When I did mine recently I found that the PSS9s were not that much more than the HDs. I probably won't use them to thier full potential, but I think they were worth it, anyway.

JW--sweet car--you thinking about getting Turbo twists or any new wheels? I bet your car would look ridiculously good with some twists or MY02s Just my opinion of course.

Thanks, Cole.

The wish list is very long, indeed

You can't tell from the photo, but I need to have some work done on the front bumper cover due to some contact with road debris. So, I think the next big investment would be a turbo bumper cover with clear lenses and no bumperettes.. Then, or at the same time, it might be time for a respray. I haven't decided yet.

I've probably put on less than 2K miles since I got the H&R springs. I love the tightness and the overall ride but I live at the ocean and because of the property value here (so I'm told) the driveways and very short and very steep. I am scraping my FPB in almost every business I go to. I think if I lived anywhere else, I would keep them.. I know, I know.. move.

Trade??
