Looks like the breather cover with a check valve.

Correct. And engineering has determined that with this particular valve, the gain across the power band is approximately 5 HP. And, no I am not selling them.

This is machined from billet to be as light as possible, was engineered to be the same volume as the original cover and is hard anodized. The cost is small quantities would be $500 but I am not in the retail business. Of course, if one were making hundreds, a casting would be appropriate and the cost would drop like a rock.

mmm...$100 per hp? That's kind of high $$/hp ratio.

Are these gains documented at the Dyno?

Yes, documented on a dyno. Actually, $100 per HP is extraordinarily inexpensive -- look, e.g., at the cost of the 3.8 liter kit. Having said this, in quantity, it would be less than half this cost. Notwitstanding, I am not and will not be selling them.

I guess it's not bad. However, considering a chip upgrade for my Audi A4 gives you over 30 hp for under $400 has me spoiled for cheap hp's.

So..who will be selling them? and oh yeah...what is it?

No one is intending to sell them. As to chips, as you know, in most instances, they add in some areas and substract in others. As to the gadget, it adds and does not substract.

That may be true for NA chips.... On turbo chips they just add more boost so your gains are all across the powerband...and you add no weight!

So...how long do we have to play this game?

WHAT IS IT???

Why does anyone want a billet vacuum cleaner attachment? My wife has that exact part and it is prolly $2.50 and includes the little brush on the bottom.

Very fair point! Which is why the parts were given as gifts to three people in the U.S. and one of my favorite engineers in Germany.
