New 993 Owner :)
Hello everybody,
I got my 1998 993 not too long ago and I just want to say Hello to everybody and give a warm introduction. The 993 has been running great and it is definitely one of the best ever produced 911!

Welcome and congrats on buying what most of us believe to be the best sports car ever produced. Take good car of it and it will outlast you, and that's no joke!
There's lots to be learned here so do thread searches and most of all ask questions. Remember that there's only one stupid question, "The one that's not asked"

We'll give you a holla the next time we head up to the canyons. You might want to pencil in 12/4, we're all meeting for a great cause, TOYS 4TOTS. There will be more info when we get closer to it. )How many miles?
Do you perhaps have the optioncodes? (Look at the sticker in the service book) They are easy to look up. Check under main topic General/Opt.Decoder and you will now exactly what came from the factory on your car.
Any plans on doing track day/Auto-X?
Have you perhaps had any Porsches before or maybe even left the BMW-land? (gotta love those..)
You'll find loads of information in Rennlist, just make sure to use the search function. You'd be amazed how many topics have been covered here. (I'm lousy on using search myself
