~~~Group Buy NOW OPENED - Suspension~~~
#46
For anyone considering a group install, or just DIY, besides the obvious ton of archived info, VB will send you an excellent set of directions (at least he did for my PSS-9s). A couple of times you have to be careful, some tight spots, front sway bar is a bit tedious as I remember, but nothing you can't do. VB is a guy who will happily answer your questions and help you out from afar as well. So, I recommend you go for it.
If I was still around Mike, I put this together just like the HID day... Oh well....
It is great talking to everyone... I REALLY am trying to catch up on all the emails and voicemails. I decided not to go to the 24 hour race (although it is on the TV at the moment) so I could get all caught up iand get back to everyone n a timely manner....
BTW - I know everyone thanks Jeff for doing all this for the Group Buy. He has spend a lot of his time, and continues to, making this a success for everyone. He doesn't know this so don't tell him but he is getting a copy of this for all his hard work. And remember, it is a surpirse
In fact, 27 drivers in the field are either current or ex Atlantic drivers, many of which I have worked with closely. Talented group they are!!
Ok, back on topic...
Jeff,
Just to confirm, I placed my order this morning with Bob for Option 3. What a super guy! I probably tied him up longer than he would have liked, but you all know how it is when two Porsche people start talking.
Thanks to both of you,
Jeff
Hey all... I had to install a new computer today (my other one was just holding on by its teeth) so I am a little behind in sending out Receipts and tracking info. I have sent info to some of you, and some of you already have your new toys... It is great talking to everyone, and when you get everything, do not hesitate to give me a call to help you or your shop with the install.....
Thanks for the update, Bob.
I've received 3 of my 4 Bilsteins and the books!! Thanks a lot.
BTW, I've still been updating the first post, so it should be up to date.
Well all PSS9s have been shipped, and most of the HDs ordered so far. The springs and sways will start going out this week....
Also, I did put together a tip sheet for installing the HDs (I also have one for the PSS9s) with some pics of spring perch heights, etc. If anyone wants a copy, just let me know and I will be happy to provide it.
Thanks everyone....
