Do you know if there are any other parts/modifications required to install this? Is it an easy DIY?

I think this is all you need. You need to remove your alternator, but I don't think it's too difficult. Maybe someone who has done it will chime in.

You do not need to remove the alternator. You will need the 10mm 12 point alternator shaft tool (triple square). You will need to unbolt the ac and move it out of the way.

Adam, the benefit is less drag on the engine, which helps throttle response a little bit. I'm not sure how much though. The only downside is that it charges the battery somewhat slower, and if you run a lot of secondary stuff (hi power stereo, headlights, etc) it exacerbates the issue.

Another reason to go to RS pulley for those of us with the "early pulley" (narrower) is that it's recommended upgrade to go to the newer style pulley with the wider wheel - the cost is probably the same to just upgrade to the RS instead.

I've already got this . . . and have never had a problem with battery charging. Why are you not using this item? Just curious.

Can't say. I bought my car last Feb. and it already had it. The prior owner had done it just 500 miles before the sale.

Things are a little tight for me right now, so I was looking for some items I could part with. Since this mod was still sitting on my shelf, I decided to sell it. I think it's a good mod, just not one of my priorities right now.

I can't say I noticed a throttle response improvement - maybe I'm not sensitive enough. One less belt in the compartment though and simpler is better from my standpoint.
