Too bad really, no matter your opinion, he is certainly better than may other F1 drivers who will have a seat next year (Ralf @ $20MM!!! - You've got to be kidding me!). Chubby Colombian never seemed to have the commitment of a M.Schu
Nonetheless, I'd like to see him do well @ Indy. I'd also like to see JV get a podium. Long-shot, I know, but no matter what he does, I doubt he'll be back next year.
I'm PRAYING for something, ANYTHING, to go wrong w/a Renault! They, and Alonso, are absolutely bulletproof.

Did you hear the audio interview with JPM after he punted Rosberg? JPM said that he was the better driver and that Rosberg should have let him have the position. Rosberg had the position and the line. True, JPM was faster, but to punt Rosberg off the track resulting in yet another DNF forJPM - that's the most recent of many reasons why he's a jackass.
I'm evedently not the only one that feels this way, either - he doesn't have an F1 ride for next year. Nobody wants him.

Villeneuve as he has sweated his bollocks off to keep that drive and deserves some luck.
Poor old Button is turning into our Tim Henman (crap tennis player who always fails at Wimbledon. He dissproves psychic energy as if it existed he would be invinsible given the number of Brits willing him on!)....

Technically I think Rosberg was driving a bit over his head. A talent no doubt, but he got the last chicane wrong and really should have let JPM by. After that, he was really overdriving. As for the final corner that got them both?...Neither one of them were going to make it. JPM had his car rotated on the inside curb and Rosberg was done too. Really a rookie mistake where he didn't want to give the position, understandable, but better to finish behind JPM than not to finish at all.

I'd vote for Kimi. He's been working hard and let down by the mechanicals too many times. I'm impressed with Rosberg and I hope he will get more 'polished' as he develops.
Now if we only could get the commentators on NBC replaced. Even Derek Daily sucks. Atleast speed is covering the remainder.

Actually it's CBS and I agree, it's mindnumbing listening to them fumble their way through it. The speed commentators actually make you forget that they are usually watching what we're watching (world-feed). As an Irishman I'd like to give DDaly the benefit of the doubt but realistically, the CBS coverage sucks. Thank God it's over.
Long live the SPEED team.

Ivan Basso (CSC) of course... it would be great to see him repeat Marco Pantani's win of both the Tour and the Giro. Among the Americans Levi Leipheimer (Gerolsteiner) is my favorite, and I would love to see David Zabriski smoke the TTs again. Oh wait... wrong forum!

MSC - Michael Schumacher all the way.....best driver out there....even without the best car he's always in the hunt. I don't know what it is about Fernando Alonso but I don't like him. What guy bails on the team that helped make him a world champion just like that? When Michael retires then I have to go with Kimi who is probably the next best driver...too bad the Mclaren isn't as reliable as it could be.
p.s. loved the British/Irish? SPEED channel commentator's comment about Michael being a "*** wrapper" away from the wall last weekend....other guy jumped in quickly to explain what he meant.....producer was probably having a corronary!
