Geez - most of your replies are pathetic, and I can't believe he was banned for that - talk about hitting a sore spot with the creator - would'nt a simple note saying it was moved to OT have sufficed??

I personally believe that banning was the correct thing to do. There is a place for religion in everyones life, not a 993 forum.
If you do a google search on the email, this person is spamming all over. Spams turn into email address's for those who reply, those who reply get more spam. Those turn into lists, lists are then sold. Thats a guess but I have been around marketing long enough and today is a new bread of marketing.

Banning was appropriate because:
This is a Porsche forum. He clearly joined the list not because of interest in Porsches. His motivation was to sell something non-Porsche related.
Now if he was a Porsche owner, whose primary reason for being here was the marque, then a posting having to do with religion in the OT forum would not have been an issue. But that wasn't the case.

While this guy was bashed for his misuse of this board his message is very important. I'm sorry that so many take it lightly. As a member here and someone who spends his time communicating about "on topic" subjects, I would ask that you give the message a moment of thought.
If the best thing about life is driving a 993 or a big house ect. whats the point.
