Can someone explain to me why people make their license plate unreadable? What can someone do with your plate number that causes so many people to hide them. Obviously, when you drive around, anyone can see your number...... I don't get it???!!!!

One day, if you want to sell your car, people will see it advertized with the same plate, at a different price, different mileage, on plenty of websites,

DAMN those US-spec bumpers are fugly... how do you guys live with it?
