I've been a PCA member on and off for the past 18 years and have stacks of Panos to show for it. I had tried to register on the defunct 993Registry.org some years ago but was unsuccessful. I believe seeing the recent spike in values that our series is significant enough to be organized and recognized beyond the "Post Your VIN" thread. It would be interesting to see if any additional factory production information could be gained by such a group besides what we all know exists already.

The long and winding road...

PCA has given me the honor of being the first advocate for the 993 Registry. You will need to be a PCA member (which includes Canada). You can contact me here https://www.pca.org/connect/special-interest-groups.

At some point we will have a WEB site set up to help coordinate events etc. If you are a 993 owner and a very Wordpress savvy webmaster type please contact me via the above if interested.

There will be an attempt to have our first meet up September 10-12 in Indianapolis for Luft 7 and the Carrera Cup NA.

The 993 Registry has a block of rooms available at the Courtyard Indianapolis West-Speedway for $124 per night (plus taxes/etc.). The rooms can be booked to from arrive September 9 to depart September 13. Contact me via the 993 Registry for the link https://www.pca.org/connect/special-interest-groups

The rooms are either a king or 2 queens. You do not have to book the entire dates. Additional 1 or 2 days may be available on either end for the same rate but you will have to call the hotel for this.

With the 993 Registry in the early formation stages, I would like to suggest that the Northern California area 993 owners meet at the Spritztour, as the first semi-official West Coast 993 gathering. The Spritztour will be held on October 2nd, Sunday in Byron, put on by Darin Fister, FD Motorsports. The location is Campos Family Winery. For details and registration go here: https://fdmotorsports.net and click on the Spritztour button. Registration is now open on Eventbrite. Those attending can sign up to be added to the 993 Registry as it come about. May be a few groups can be formed to drive together.

I'm down for this. It's a long drive up from SoCal but the weather *should* be decent by then. I'll probably drive up that morning and leave that evening as I wouldn't trust my 993 in a hotel parking lot somewhere. That would make for a pretty long day tho with that 4hr event plus whatever we plan as the PCA 993 group if we a driving event. I'll need a nap hahaha.
