Cabrio roof closing / alignment
Cabrio roof seems to not-line up sometimes,
so when you close the roof, the roof drops down onto the head of the windshield, you can hear the locking motors working, and it locks - but not in the right place - as ( sitting in the driver's seat ) you can see daylight top right of the windshield.
Roof was replaced by the previous owner ( about 6-8 months ago ).
I think this was just the fabric - not mechanicals, cables etc..
Good news is there is a warranty on the roof repair
- anyone have any suggestions on what needs / can be done to get the roof to close correctly??
- so far not a disaster, as if I back the roof back up a foot or so, and then re-close it then usually ont eh 1st or 2nd attempt it closes in line and locks correctly.
....but I don't want to wait for it to get worse!
Thanks

If you remove the carpeted panels in the rear, you'll find a couple nuts that are used for adjustment. With this, you can adjust the fore and aft position of the top, which is what it sounds like you need to adjust.
I just found a pic where I circled the adjustment nut. (ignore the circle up and to the right) Good luck!
