I helped a friend buy a 993 C4S. We located one at a dealer near Hershesheimer, and they preformed a PPI. While the car was ridiculously clean, then recommended against a purchase due to some undiscovered structural issues. Dealer says they had no idea. This also happened to be a shop that worked with the dealer in the past, so it appeared that they could give an unbiased report.

Just one story though. I believe they are members here as well.

You might get more specific answers if you tell us what services you are considering ...

I commissioned them to do a remote PPI for me on a C4S that I bought last month. PM me for details.

Thanks for the input guys and gals , I was merily checking confidence level, I have talked with them today about a car that they did a PPI on and their opinion of this car. I am satisfied and have put in an offer on the car I am looking at .

You did the right thing by following their advice. They performed the inspection on my car before I bought it. Because the previous owner also had the car serviced there, they recommended that I go to another shop just so I'd feel that I got a truly independent assessment. I chose to have them do the work based on their reputation and never thought twice. I continue to have the car serviced there, even though they're located about 45 miles from me. Incidentally, I have no affiliation other than as a customer.

I bought a car that was serviced there. They haven't worked on the car for some time, yet, when I called to ask about the car, the service manager, Laura/Lora(sp?), remembered it in a manner of detail that was very impressive. She spent about 30 minutes on the phone answering questions despite the fact that I disclosed to her that I was calling from out of town and thus would not be a customer. It's truly unfortunate. Based on my experience and what I read about their history and reputation, in addition to other's posts on this thread, I would be happy to give them my business.

Laura is great!!

I needed the lowering collar for my front suspension and the car was already at West End Alignment... she had the parts and had it delivered the same day.

Laura also jumps in here once in a while and gives us incredibly sage advice. Kudos to both of them.
