I posted this on the cross link on the 928 forum. Thought I'd put it here to so as to increase the chance of a response from those of you coordinating this.
Ok, if I read all of these threads & posts correctly, the autocross was to be on Sunday in Deland, & the Exotic meet the following weekend 6/30. The GTG this Sat. 23rd at 10am is a Rennlist/P-car social. Is it just hanging out in Winter Park Village at the Albertson's parking lot & Starbucks? Or is it planned to go to the Charity Car Show at Orlando Brewing too? If so, how close are those two locations, Atlantic Ave & 17/92 at Lee Rd.? I know where the GTG location is. Does anyone know what the 25 cars in the show are? Exotics, street rods,......?? Any preliminary thoughts on how many might be in attendance at the GTG?

btw, for those interested in autocrossing if the Deland event is off. There will be one 7/14 at Gainesville Raceway. After the autocrossing during the day, there will be drag racing that evening too. Some of us from the Fla. Crown Region PCA plan to attend. Should be a lot of fun. As close for those of you in Central Fla. as it is for us in NE Fla too.

There really arent any hard plans as far as I know. We were meeting up to meet, talk and look at cars. What ever else happen i guess will be decided there.

The 928 forum has a few people who are interested but I think they will need to see some more concrete plans before commiting to it. Jacksonville and St. Petersburg are a little far to drive from if there is only going to be a hot Albertsons parking lot to look forward to.

I had my 996TT there (CFE) and I tell ya it was way over shadowed by the Fcars however everybody is very friendly and happy to show off their cars. Its totally informal also. I went a couple months ago and there were over 30 cars there. We need to get more then the 1 or 2 Porsches there!

There are no concrete plans.
I was just missing my car, and thought it would be nice to get a bunch of Rennlisters, most of whom only know each other from the internet, together for a face-to-face, show-off-your-car, meet-and-greet.

Meet around 10:00 at the Albertson's parking lot, walk to Starbucks (about 200 feet
) get some coffee, walk back, talk, drink, put a face with the posts, maybe get a bite for lunch if there are any who are interested. maybe go for a drive....
I am open to suggestions, but let's firm up the time for 10:00 if that works for most of you. That way, those coming from further away have something to shoot for.
