Default My "new" 1998 Silver/Grey C2S

I finally found the 993 I have been searching for right near the Air Force Base I am stationed at. I have owned it for a little over two months now but have not had time to post due to the demands of my job. What a blast to drive...much better than my 1990 944S2 I owned.

Since buying the car, I have added a strut brace, Turbo S ducts, clear front turn signals, and a Techart Turbo tail...easiest mods I have ever done to a car.

I am currently in search of a good car cover that will withstand the elements as I will be forced to keep the car outdoors when we relocate to Washington D.C. Any advice?

I got a cover from autocover.com and it works fine for the car I keep outdoors in Hong Kong. Hong Kong can be hot, very humid and has typhoons...and so far the cover has done a good job.

Nice Ride! - Pix please...

Did you buy Euro clear front signals and cut them down? Or find somewhere that sells them for US cars...

I cut down the Euro clears so they fit. It was an easy job with the dremel and then carefully sealed the end with clear silicone.

Congrats

I just bought a 97 C4S just a couple weeks ago. I'm in the Wash area also.

I want to put clear corners and what I think are the turbo ducts on it. Are those the duct/light combos that take the place of the lens in the front bumper?

I'm a little dumb on this topic.

Yes, they are the combo light/duct....simple bolt-on replacement once part is painted.

The painted bumperett looks nice . Aside from too much gap between
the fender and tires she looks real good .

Cheers guy

Congrats on the C2S!

(And on taking an almost insurmountable lead in the Understatement of the Year contest).
