Sad but true, the 993 has to go
Hi All,
The realities of life are setting in, and I have to part with my 993. With one toddler and two more on the way, I won't be able to keep the 993. It is posted on this site.
Triple Black 993
It has certainly been fun being part of this forum and hope to be back in the future with another 993 (a TT maybe). Might have to wait until the kids are out of college.
Hope it goes to a good home and gives its new owner as many smiles per mile as I have gotten.
Ken

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can get into something else as you will want something to get away and relax with three little ones running around!
I guess I should consider myself lucky that I have been able to keep 911s and three toddlers! It is so rare that we actually need a second car capable of hauling kids that my wife actually told me to keep the Porsches and rent a car if we need one for a day or two.
If you have already considered all options, well done on putting family first.

I'm missing something - you've got the perfect little kid-hauling SUV, and you have to get rid of the 993? If the X3 isn't big enough, couldn't you just trade it for something bigger?

Feel your pain as I am currently wrestling w/ letting my Targa go. I need a truck as a daily driver and have a bunch of other toys--2 street bikes, a dirt bike and a 69 911 hotrod in the driveway. I want to keep the bikes and 69 so its hard to justify the 993 especially when I'm only driving it a few days a month--that is until I actually drive the thing...

I was just about to ask that same question. My understanding is that "triple" would only apply to Cab's. Black paint, leather & roof.

Trade the X3 for a V6 4Runner with the third row. The are dead reliable and cheap to run.
