I just cant resist. Very bad will power
Here we go again . I was minding my own business. Then a friend called me to go with him to see a 993tt. As soon as we arrived he was disappointed " He said its red ". It was Arena Red I explained to him it is red, its called Arena Red. He wanted guards red. He wanted to go home and now I wanted to see the car. It had 42k miles and guess what ? It has black interior The car was bone stock no mods but it was gorgeous and priced fair. To make the story short. I ended up buying the car Have not told the commander (wife) . But is now parked in my office. Wish me luck . I just cant resist these 993s . Will post pics as soon as I park it home

CONGRATS! Can't wait to see the pics. What mods are you planning for her (ie, the car)?

Let's see, a non-molested (i.e. non-modified) 993TT (tough to find)
Areana red (the best color for the 993- guards red is great on an 80's car, not 993- all my opinion)
Low miles, fair priced...I don't understand how your friend walked!
BUT buying something like that without the wife's permission.......I think that nullifiys all above points- at least I couldn't sleep before getting the word out. I don't think I could even enjoy driving the car even until telling the wife. This should be interesting
On a more serious note, please post pictures when you can- this car must be beautiful!

Alvin,
Bruddah, you are my hero. Post some pics... don't worry about your wife, she'll understand and I agree with 95 C4 993 above, I don't wait for permission either.
But you still have a sickness... LOL>

Morning coffee and bagel with good friend: $5.00
Gas to drive to see 993TT: $20.00
Buying 993TT and parking it at your office: $60,005
Making an impulse buy for mid-five figures and not telling the wife: Freakin' Priceless!!!
Kudos to you!
If I had that kinda scratch around where I could buy what I wanted (cars) when I wanted, I'd have done it too.

You my friend are in serious trouble! The commander might decide to push the self destruct button and sink the ship
And I thought I was sick

Any man that van fiddle the home cookie jar to the tune of 60K is OK with me. Trouble is according to my own guideline I'm not OK with me.
Don't think I've ever seen 60K
