yeah I got super lucky with this one, it just has a little bit of the typical rust spot starting to show on one small corner of the rear window, which is going to get fixed next week, and that's about it.... I would say I paid about 15k under current market price here in Canada...

I'd say even more thank $15K in the Vancouver market, nice buy for sure! I would recommend Korva for that repair too, tricky to ensure removal of the rear window without damage. Congrats!

Sweet- Anything been done to it? I like the wheels! Mine's been lowered with a Bilstein set-up, Goldenrod, and updated stereo ( which sucks and I will be upgrading again!). Hows the Interior?

Thanks guys, I am loving owning a 993. It is bone stock, besides the wheels. I am looking to change the wheels to either 993 turbo twists or BBS LMs if I can find a set.... other than that going to keep it pretty close to stock....

Right on! Networking seems to be the best way to find these cars now. SR is great. I bought a set of 20" Maya DX2 black polish rims from them a few years back.

JGB if you don't mind me asking what was the final sale price for your silver C4S and where did the buyer live? I remember drooling over it when it was for sale.

Actually networking is the only way to get a nice 993 these days.... specially in Vancouver area.... the guy who had the car before me lived in Vancouver area, I paid 35k for it....

it seems that prices on 993 climbed dramatically over the last year much as in the way of the z3 M Coupe and e30 m3's... is this a sign of a bubble or are these cars stable against depreciation (assuming condition is maintained)?

Guys- I have been following this forum closely. Now it is time to post. Looking at a 1998 C2S coupe (wide body) for sale at a dealer in laguna beach. 33,XXX miles, seems to be in great condition, with all service records. Asking price seems very high $89K. Would love your thoughts on what to look for and guidance...

Also- if anyone is looking to sell.....

If you are looking at the C2S Silver with black sport seats....Wow! I happen to love the Aero Kit ($7k option when new).....these cars, when in dealer hands are asking these prices now. The colored Crest on steering wheel, sport seats (hard to find and desireable, but not for "big people")....Silver is always desirable and black interior always shows less wear over time....this could be the one......I have been following 2S and 4S for the last 4 months and finally found one...If Wilhoit or Sloan had this car, it would probably be higher priced. Good luck....too bad it is not a private party.
