Guys- I have been following this forum closely. Now it is time to post. Looking at a 1998 C2S coupe (wide body) for sale at a dealer in laguna beach. 33,XXX miles, seems to be in great condition, with all service records. Asking price seems very high $89K. Would love your thoughts on what to look for and guidance...

Doesn't seem like a car that's worth approx. 45% more than the one he just bought. Even with the lower miles but, as others are saying, prices are rising and if it's a nice example someone will buy it.

that car was private party out of palos verdes, then sold to the stealer. price was lowered about a 10 days ago. i had passed on it due to the after market parts.
op, perhaps you can ask someone in the oc area should check it out for you? lots of nice rennlisters in that part of woods.

Any idea how much I should pay for a mint 993?
Does anyone have a range what I should pay for a 1997 or '96 993 (no mods) in great condition with almost 50,000 miles? Looking at 2 cars with similar condition and miles.
