Default Just a smile....

Perspective, ........arrived at work this morning in my 993 after not driving her for a couple of weeks now that she is no longer a DD I dont get the pleasure everyday.....my route to work as the local rennlisters know (it was our drive last Novemeber) is a set of "interesting" backroads .....well this morning I did not meet another car and could just enjoy myself.....I arrive with a big fat smile and just thought, I am NEVER selling this car......I just love her.....with the RS Flywheel/clutch, the PSS9s and lowered plus the fabspeeds and the other little mods, she is MY car.....I hope you all get something like this feeling when you drive yours.....I had just forgotten how good these cars are Thanks for reading I know its cheesey but sometimes I just want to share my joy at owning this car and how lucky I feel with all the bad stuff that goes on .....

I hear ya, David. God willing, I plan on keeping this car forever. It has proven to be such a capable car for me.

I've driven my 97 cab daily for the last month, since I sold my Audi out from under myself and am looking for a C Class preowned wagon. Top down every moment unless it's raining. Wonderful car. If it fit my guitar equipment, I'd slap snows on her and drive her all winter, too.

Hey David... I know the feeling. I've retired mine as a DD about 2 months ago so don't get out in it as much as I used to. But when I do....

I think that we all pretty much feel that way about our little cars!

Im so glad that I just read this post after deciding that I have to sell my 993! I have that same feeling every time that I drive mine. Oh well, hopefully I can move up to a 993 C2s next year if all goes well...

Same feeling here. I admire how you can go 2 weeks without driving it. It's not my daily driver but I'm always looking for excuses to take it out for a spin

On days I drive the 993 to work I sometimes will find myself sitting in traffic with a big sh*? eating grin on my face hoping it is not too obvious. I look around and wonder why everyone would not want the same simple pleasure. Ssshhhh, let's keep it our secret. There are only so many 993's to go around!
