Since I got my car, it has always idled around 450-500 RPM. That seems low to me. I've cleaned the ISV and haven't noticed any difference.

It will idle around 700 RPM when the AC is on.

What is everyone's else idling at?

I've only had the car for two months but idle is constant at 750 RPM except on a cold start where it fluctuates between 800 to 1100 RPM for about 5 seconds

With the A/C OFF -- between 800-850 -- I know coz I use(d) an OBD ii code-scanner.

What is an ISV? Does it help with a rough idle?

ISV...idle stabilazation valve. Yes it does help with rough idle. Do a search on how to clean it as they do get gummed up...very easy and it will smooth out your idle. My idles at 750-800.

Mine never stays idle it just goes !!!!!!

Mine is about the same - and it has plenty of opportunity to idle in stop-and-go traffic.

Mine idles at 1000, which I've always thought to be too high, but I don't know how to adjust it- is it possible?

750 with AC off - 800-850 with AC on.
