Is he on our list? I casually know him through some other Porsche guys around here. Buys, modifies, and sells lots of cars, If I remember correctly.

Anyway, if you're looking for what the market will bear, consider what I got in the old Kim Yellow Zonker (same color, too!) 6 months ago for just a few thousand more. A car like that, a little worse cosmetically I'm sure, but add:

Full tilt 3.8RS engine
Moton Club Sports with a whole bunch of GT2 stuff
Regeared trans, motorsport LSD
Extra Fikses, and other spares like extra 6 speed, original sport seats

And an ABSOULUTE JOY to drive (have converted 2 BMW guys so far). If anyone crosses paths with me at Thunderhill, take it out for a few laps.

What suspension is that exactly? I see H&R but what is the CSRS bit? Sorry, perhaps a dumb queston but the car sits perfectly, and I have the same year and wheels.'

Great looking car. Only a few thousand more than I paid for mine. Seems like a fair deal for all the mods

Its the H&R Club Sport coilover kit. Its aimed for club racing/ track work so its not going to be too "plush" on the street. H&R makes coilover kits , meaning shocks valved to match their spring rates. They make different varieties of coilover kits with different spring rates.

His car is lowered to RS specs that is why it sits so nicely
If on your car you still have the stock suspension, you will not be able to get to that height. You will need to change your suspension with an adjustable system to be able to lower the car.

Thanks for the quick reply. Familiar with the Coilovers but I've never heard the CSRS acronym and thats what threw me off. A bit more than I need it seems!

Awesome!

The driver's door gaps seem a bit goofy though....

is that car a good price for that kind of mileage? i actually like the yellow, and SRD seats are the most comfy seats I have ever sat in. also, the way the car sits, is that considered very low?

I have been talking to him about the car since last week. He has absolutely no records on the car and it has been repainted for sure. He won't budge on price otherwise I would still consider it after a very thorough ppi.

A repaint is perfect - take her to the track and drive her hard. That's what they are made for!

Looks like a great deal, provided the car was not repainted due to a bad hit.
