Default What do you think of this RED interior?

Can't decide whether I like it or not. I think some black floor mats with red lettering would really set it up.

Its a silver exterior.

pretty neat and you cannot beat the full leather interior that this one has. Also the factory silver gauges, shifter etc are neat options and expensive to retrofit. This car seems to be fully loaded in cosmetic options. I agree some black mats will ease a bit the all red , but hey you are going to be behind the wheel all day long in this car so if you like it, go get it! Its certainly more exclusive than most 993 interiors.

My car has the boxster red interior and at first, via pictures it looked way too bright and I didn't think I would be interested in it. When I saw it in person it was definitely better and I bought it.

What color does the window sticker say or the options code have?

Having just stepped out of a half hour with Chestnut Brown (1/2 a shade subtler), you do grow to like something other than boring black. I didn't want another silver/black car, anyway. It will always be a conversation starter!

That's one of those colors that you absolutely love or hate. I think that the red looks nice when new, but doesn't age well. Some colors can grow on you though. I initially didn't like the grey interior of my car. After black mats, black Recaro seats, black 3-spoke stearing wheel, and black shifter/boot, I think it looks great and I now prefer to boring monotone interiors. In the end, it's a personal thing (although I think the red may hurt your chances at resale if you plan on not keeping this car forever).

Along with black mats, changing to black seats and black center console would make a nice two-tone interior...there is a white TT w/red interior nearby that I'm eyeing.

I agree with David. I really like the red/black contrast. My cab is all black ... and I've tried to add as many red bits as possible.

I do think I'd like this one even better with black mats ... (maybe even black carpeting ) ... and possibly black seats too. Unique ... and nice for sure.
