Purchased 993 - New to Forum
Guys, just purchased a '96 C2 with 45.8K miles for 30.5K. After weeks of research thought it was a great deal. Did PPI and everything is fine. It's Black on cashmere, 6-speed, stock engine, 18-inch Rufs, H&R springs/coilovers. I've been a long-time 993 fan and finally decided to buy one as a weekend car (daily driver is an '06 330i). Here are some pics, what do you think?

I live in Miami and just purchased a 993 C2 also . Mine is a 1995 6 speed with 39K miles. It was completely stock with the exception of a set of exhaust tips when I bought it. I have just purchased a set of 18" Turbo Twists, Big Reds front and rear, a set of Cat Bypasses and a reprogrammed ECU. I am ready to order some PSS9's this week to adjust the ride height and sharpen its handling. You used to see lots of air cooled cars in So. Fla., but I now see very few on the road.

Thanks to all for the comments! It's nice to get all the experts' approvals. Yes, I am trying to get the Ruf center caps but I cannot seem to find where. I tried getting a hold of Ruf at Texas to no avail. Thomas from Absolute Motoring (for those in Miami) is trying to help me. I am also getting Euro corner lights to replace front bumperettes.

Good idea as long as you realize that you have to fill the resulting holes in the bumper cover or replace with a Euro bumper and then paint. unfortunately this isn't just a remove and replace type thing. I just went through this along with deleting the headlight washer nozzles, and the results look great. Btw, very nice car, welcome to the fold.
