Beautifull car but no, its not for me. Never was much of a fan of the styling although they are much better lately. Besides that, I actually use my rear seats on occasion.

You have to respect the capability of the new 'vette, but I have wanted a 911 since I was a kid and specifically wanted the 993 since it's inception. I waited 10 years to get it, and the car is plenty capable for me, so the only thing I might consider trading my 993 for is another Porsche. . . like a new GT3-RS. Are you listening Santa?

Looks good on the outside, goes like Hell, cheap for what is delivers.
Dow side, just go & sit in one, then you realize it's the same as a $14k Chevy. It's so cheap & plasticity. I think they are also very low teens in MPG, & have a pretty harsh ride.
Check out what Top-Gear had to say about it, really funny!

Amazing performance-even more so considering the price! Seriously though, how fast can you go on the street? I truly believe our cars are a great compromise; fast enough to be entertaining but not too much power. This may sound like a strange comment from someone as car-obsessed as myself, but I think that the extreme performance of today's cars is nuts. You simply cannot use it in today's traffic. I think a lot of these mega-HP cars are sold for their bragging rights. That said I'd love a CGT, Enzo, or even a "humble" 993TT!

One of the car mags did an article on the 25 year battle between the Corvette and the 911. In the end, the author said that a Porsche guy was not going to look at a Vette and visa versa (not a direct quote). I think this still holds true most of the time. Now a Mopar guy crossing the tracks, that is another story.

The Corvette is a nice car but it's not for me. I have friends that own them and love the HP and torque they provide. I'll stick with the P-car.

I'll take Porsche plastic over Chevy leather any day of the week. And, for full disclosure, I am one of the few 993 owners who does have the full leather treatment.

The ZR1 is Ok....I would have selected the full leather option if I had the opportunity to buy my 993 new. Trade, Probably Not...which car would you think would be worth more in years to come?
