In another section of this wonderful forum, a few guys suggested that I might find somebody interested in my 996 wheels, perhaps with tires as well (I just bought the car and these were "extra" wheels and tires). These are perfect examples, recently refinished by Ernie's Alloys. Total spent was $3100 for the wheels and a new set of PS2s in 225/265 x 18. I was looking for a different "look" and a wheel that did not require a spacer as I will be switching from street oem Cup 1s to my track wheels.

Although the date on the invoice is last June, the car has not been driven much at all. This was a project car, so it was being worked on most of the time and stored fall and winter.

I asked Wheel Enhancement about possibly trading them in toward something else and Dave said...

Ron, you should be able to sell that set of wheels for about $1,700.00 or $1,800.00 to a private party…you should not have any trouble finding a buyer.

So, my first desire is to see a fellow RennLister get them and again, I was told the 993 group really likes these. I'd prefer to do the wheel / tire package as it's ready to go (mounted & balanced). Local pick-up in CT preferred, though shipping is fine too.

OK I don't get it. They have been on for 5 hours and no bites. That seems like a good deal. The PS2's alone are $1K.
I wish I could do it but selling a house in MI and buying in No VA is not the time to buy new wheels.
I want them so bad I can taste it.

I have these wheels and had them finished in a darker color. I love them and they look so nice on a 993.

Many interested parties, but no sale yet. Adjusted pricing: $2500 for the package of wheels, "as new" PS2 tires, and painted center caps. Wheels and caps alone for $1700.
