Default Finally...The Best Way to Keep your 993 Looking Incredble

Every one of us has probably spent hundreds of dollars on waxes, polishers and cleaners of all kinds.
I find it very hard not to buy some new cleaner or wax when I see it on the shelf at any of the stores.
Sort of like buying a toy for your pet. I also find most of them being about the same, nothing spectacular.
Some are easier to apply than others but overall very similar.
This product is very different. Aside from the fact that easy to apply and remove,
it works on many surfaces and leaves no residue like other products.
I came across it from using it on motorcycles. I don't like to wash the bikes unless absolutely necessary.
I don't like moisture on the onboard computers and controllers.
It's simply called HONDA PRO Spray Cleaner and Polisher.
You can get it at any Honda Motorcycle shop for only $5.50 a can.
I use this on my 993 all the time. My car sees water about once every 2 months. Not bad for a Black car that looks like new!!
After a drive, I take about 10 minutes to spray and wipe. Great for removing bugs!
I found out about this stuff from a local Honda dealer who uses it to keep the bikes in the showroom looking new.
BTW comparing it to any of the common spray detailers, this stuff is miles ahead! It is truely is a Spectacular Product!
Give it a try and let me know what you think. ~Chris~

I currently have a can of that as well, for my Honda CBR. Never thought of using it on a car? Hmm... The only downside is that the darn can doesn't last to long!

It's only about $5.00 a can, and it lasts me quite a long time.
I get them as a Six-Pack!

Give it a try tell me what you think.

I have used that for over 10 years on my BMW motorcyle. I found out about it when I was taking delivery of my bike, they were using that to detail all of the bikes on the showroom floor. I was hooked from that moment on.

I'm glad someone else finds this stuff to be as great as it really is. I use it on my car as well and it's like instant gratification for when you don't have the time for a full polish/wax job. It goes on easily, wipes out quick, no residues and gives you a deep gloss to the paint, almost 3D. And it smells great too.

It doesn't take much either to cover the whole car as it is concentrated, so a can goes a looong way.

New to me...What are the usage conditions? Just dusty? Dirty?

I use a quick detailer for a week or so after a wash, but beyond that, I'm afraid of scratches. How does this compare?

No, I like to apply it after a wash. Use like any other polish.

Default Quick detail

I also use Mequiars Quick Detail and Quik Wax. How is the Honda stuff different except car needs to be washed. MANY years ago I was told by a detailer to add a little kerosene to the water and soap when I washed my Pcar. It did make it look shinier but that is cause there was an oily film residue which of course only attracted dirt.

THe local shop tells me that its not sold under honda name anymore. Its made by Next dimension but they swear its the same stuff as the honda stuff which apparently is not for sale anymore. The can says everything c993ks can says except "UV protection".

Does this stuff strip waxes? Im curious what it does to existing finishes if it cuts grease.

As I say above, it makes all other detailers obsolete.
Once you try this, you will throw all the other red plastic bottles in the garbage.
I use it before or after a ride or when I can't sleep at night and I just feel like rubbing my car! ~Chris~

I've used the Honda stuff for years on my bikes, and it works well.

My new go-to product is Meguiar's "The Professional Final Inspection 34". The bottle is tan with a black top and can only be purchased at auto body supply stores or through specialty car care stores. This stuff differs from the regular Meguiar's "Quick Detail" that you can buy at any generic auto parts store or Target/WalMart/etc...

Anyway, the Final Inspection is an amazing product that works like a charm on any track residue, bird crap, light dirt, etc. My cars are black, red, and silver and have never looked better.
