Burning Brakes
Here are some more with some other Porsche stuff I have collected. Some of the cars are signed like:
Target Indy car - Jimmy Vasser and Alex Zanardi
Kool - Team Green Champ car - Paul Tracy
Busch Series Warngler car - Dale Jr.
Some other notables are:
An original ashtray from Vasek Polak Porsche in Hermosa Beach. When I won this thing in EBay 12 years ago I had a guy offer me 200.00 for it since he missed the bidding. Who knows what this is worth? Probably not 200.00.
A ceramic 930 Turbo tape dispenser. I love this thing.
Enjoy the rest of the pics. Feel free to ask any questions or request more pics. Nothing is for sale.

Wow, great collection Mike.
Searched high and low for a 1:18 C2S to go with the 1:1 and couldn't believe the limited availablility and pricing. One from Ebay Germany found it's way under the Christmas tree a couple of years later albeit wrapped up and addressed to my 13 yr old son from Santa....little did the man in red know how excited Dad was to see that show up.
Despite objections from the diecast community; took it out of the box and like any 1:1 993 in our garage, gets used a lot. It's not a box queen
It's the same color scheme as the 1:1 car, but planning on changing out the classic grey interior in the 1:1 to full red leather so the 1:18 may need a professional interior redo.
While they're in there, probably get the rear window wiper delete option on the 1:18 as well.
We won't be entirely happy until the 1:1 also has the Euro side turn signals and both the 1:1 and 1:18 get clear corner lenses.
We both would prefer the Cup II wheels and sunroof delete on the 1:1 because they look so nice on the 1:18.

Agree. I took mine out of the boxes as well and displayed them in a dust free environment. 2 years ago I upgraded my office and the cars went back in the boxes and tucked away in the attic. Most of mine are UT and if you see what people are wanting for these things I'll still come out way ahead. I bought mine 10-12 years ago from a guy on eBay. He ended up being a distributor so I would 10-20 at a time at a pretty good price. It's anybody's guess what these will be worth down the road. In my case I'll pull them out when I'm retired in 20 years and decide what to do with them. Right now they are out of sight and out of mind.

You have a very nice collection, even if your wife disagrees. Mine pales in comparison to yours and is mostly 1/43. One advantage to having as many as we do is that your wife usually doesn't notice when you get a few more.

Auto Art has one now! I've been looking for a long time, too, but they finally came out with one. I just got one for myself this past Christmas and it looks great! I'll try and take some pictures later.....

You have some nice cars there CAHRERA. I mainly stick with 1/43 for the same reason. 1/18 is nice, but takes up too much room. I guess part of me never grew up. As a child I used to collect hot wheels etc. but was never happy with them.
Let's try this again...
