Default An Epiphany awaits - I get my suspension redone tomorrow!!!!

After reading about this from you guys for close to two years now, I can hardly contain myself. ROW M030 with Bilstein HDs...old hat to some, I know, but to me, a revelation. Hope it lives up to its advance billing. I'll let you know.

How low are you setting it?
This is the chart Gert provided me.

Factory height settings in mm:
FRONT REAR
USA : Standard 174 +/- 10 157 +/- 10
RoW : Standard 154 +/- 10 147 +/- 10
USA : M030 174 +/- 10 157 +/- 10
RoW : M030 144 +/- 10 127 +/- 10
RoW : Rennsport 124 +/- 10 107 +/- 10

I set mine to the ROW M030 setting about midpoint:
You will be amazed how great the ride and handling are after installation.
Enjoy!

Awesome! It WILL transform the car!
Just a question, did you consider the PSS9's? I was actually 3 days away from doing the same exact setup then changed my mind to the PSS9's for 3 reasons....Height Adjustability, Stiffness Adjustability (If you are considering DE's), and Longevity. Not trying to sway you...

Troublemaker!(J.B.H.)
Good luck Ed, let us know how you like the setup. Pics are of course appreciated as well.
Cheers, Tim.

ROW M030 is the target...

I will post the obligatory before and after pics.

While PSS9's would be awesome, my needs are rather simple - little to no tracking, if ever, just some gracefully executed reckless endangerment...I kid, I kid!

Great set up.... that's what I got 4 years ago. I still remember the first time I saw the 993 after the install. I thought, "So, that's how is was meant to look".

Ed - can't wait to hear the story and who in Atlanta was your wrench. Alan? Also, would be willing to know your deal (offline).

Ed,

It's mandatory that we head to the mountains to test them properly!

Congrats! You'll love it.

Hey Ed,

I had Alan Kidson at German Car Repair in Roswell do my H&R / HD setup and it's 'incredible'. David down at Performance Plus tires did the alignment and set me up like an RS basically. I took fastest time of the day my first time out to the autocross. You will love the suspension upgrade.

David will be doing my alignment, too. Bill Briere at German Auto Repair in Marietta will be doing the install.

Shame it's supposed to rain tomorrow. I won't be able to contain myself...
