Default Outdoor car cover

I also have an oem outdoor car cover - like new, cable lock is still in stapled bag. It has soft cloth lining sewn into corner contact points and plastic window for the license plate. $130 shipped to lower 48 states.
Thanks,
Steve

Are these covers safe to put over hot exhaust tips - both in terms of not melting holes in the cover and not leaving an adhesive residue on the tips?

thanks

I hope someone here can answer your question. The car got whacked before I had a chance to try it.

Does this cover keep the car dry when it's raining...probably a dumb question but I bought one here before and the water leaks through it. I'd be very interested in buying it if it works. Please let me know?

Many thanks...Matt from Boston

Because I never put the top up I use the OEM cover ALL the time. Even if it is to run into the store for 10 minutes the cover goes on. It takes me 45 seconds to put it on and a fraction of that to take it off. Well worth the effort. I have no problems putting it on over hot exhaust piles. I am sure it is hard on the cover, but no real issues. These are nice covers but don't believe that they are waterproof.

This is from a NB, no wing.

Thanks to others for sharing their experiences with these.
