I Cannot Get Enough O This Ring Video: 7:26:04 WoW

That's very very fast. It is unbelievably scary on that track. You can see he got airborne at least three
times, and he did make several mistakes on that lap so with more practice he could go quicker. Wow.

THe GT2 vid - the driver is far smoother and made no real mistakes that I saw. Also he was held
up a dozen times; one or two were probably well over a second of lost time, especially going up that
looooong hill, he had to check up big time because the track was blocked whereas the Z06 just
blasted thru there unimpeded. That costs a lot of time.
One thing the vids do not show is the relief. The altitude changes just don't show up.
If you've never been..... go.

Ok, I admit I am biased, The GT# either handles much better or was driven by a better driver. Yes the vette sounded awesome and 5+ seconds faster but in a ten lap race the GT3 would win if for no other reason than better brake and tire management. Plus the vette driver would be totally worn out due to having to save the car on almost every corner. But then again I am biased

THe vette did look very very loose. On balance, the GT2 killed the Z06. The big difference was traffic
and yes the GT2 was driven better. Consider the difference thru Flugplatz between the two runs,
and the pass near Kesselchen - plus the GT2 had to pass several bikes who take HUGE amounts
of time, he had to do some passes near Adenaur Forst, and even at Galgenkopf which is the last
turn before getting onto a 2 mile straight.... so that pass costs you time for 2 miles. CP was wondering
if maybe the GT2 was held up for a second - I'd guess it's more like 10 seconds on that run at least.
Maybe 15.
For sure, the GT2 handled much much better than the Z06 and this can be seen right at the beginning
thru Hatzenback and Hoheichen - especially the last turn from Hoheichen as you can first see the bridge,
but part of that was the better line taken by the GT2 driver, that is, further towards the left; it looked
like the Z06 driver was a bit behind the car there and he was caught out towards the right and had to
go way towards the right on trackout and it looked a bit hairy there for a second.
I love the air at Flugplatz the Z06 got - and incredibly scary there for the two righthanders that are really
a single turn.

By comparison, here is the GT2 lapping the same circuit at 7:32 or so. But he had to dodge traffic on this drive, don't know of it costed him a second or not.
