Tiptronic Shifter Stuck
'97 993.. The Tiptronic Shifter is stuck in neutral.. It works fine in manual but it wont come out of neutral.. Any thoughts.

I have the Porsche metal shifter and sometimes the shifter outside will rise up and that locks the shifter. try pushing down on the outside before pushing down on the button.
