I think the term is "FLOGGED"!!!
Just had a chance to log in and saw all the response...many thanks for the well wishes! What a relief to have the car "better" than advertised...
Drove about 40 miles after work today, out t the coast, through the twisties on the coastal range, then back to my garage...this car is amazing...
I sold my 97 TT a few years ago and danced with a few Italians...could not replicate the neck snap of the TT, so, back to Porsches...instead of 1 TT, went for 2 cabs, one for my wife and one for me...anyway, this car, with the RS and LWF and 3.8 brings me back to the TT days (this ought to stir up some nay sayers, myself included). So, no, this is not the TT, but at any speed, with RPM above 3500, a press of the right pedal forces snap...really impressive!
Now, not sure I remember all of the comments above, but...
- When I get there (too many) I will let you know...
- Thank you for fixing the link
- The house, it is a love it or hate it house. The architect is known for his contemporary style! I would say, our house could be the poster child!
- We need to keep our air cooled beauts on our shore!
- MOOTY- How are you..? Great suggestion! I can get at least one more in there...do you have a lead on a nice 993? Oh, and a new wife?
- The only car that may be for sale is my wife's cab, arena red. She is itching for the 6 series BMW...will post here first, of course!
- I do think 42,500 is a good price, but I actually paid 39K...and that is very, very good!
Well, that does it...
Really am excited about the purchase...what a relief...
Now, there has to be a flaw! There is one...I do not like Eiback springs for daily driving...LOVED it in the coastal range on the turns, around town, well, a bit stiff! There, I said it, a flaw...but, this is not and never will be my Starbucks car...so, all is good!

Hey...That's MY car!
Glad it found a wonderful home and enthusiastic owner. Haven't posted here in many years. I can't tell you how much fun I've had with that car in the ~ 10 years of ownership. Hopefully, (I should say probably) Anthony will have as many years enjoying it. It is un-freaking-believable fun to drive on a tight track. Great mid range torque for powering out of turns. No drivers aids, so you can really steer with the go pedal. A total blast, and you look good while doing it! I never loved or enjoyed a car as much as this one.
It's a gorgeous color combo, and I know what many of you are thinking, so to set the record straight...no, your car is not nicer than this one, and don't try to tell me different.
Have fun Anthony!

Hey there Vinny...thanks again for spending time on the phone with me the other day...the more I drive this car, the more I like it! Unreal....you knew exactly what to do to make the car perform...the 3.8 is a big improvement, compared to my other 993 experience.
Anyway, thanks again for raising my girl...you should be a proud papa, you 'done' good!
Now, get off the boards...this place leads to purchases...next thing you know, you will have a 993 mistress!
AC
