Default OT: Quick surgery update

I wouldn't bring this topic to life again but I had so many great and inspiring replies, here's a quick update.

I had prostate cancer. Prostate removal surgery went off like clockwork on 12/19. Released on 12/21.

As I told CP, I'm home with my wife, two boys, dog and my car. Life is better than good.

Merry Christmas everybody. Thanks,
chuck

Hi Chuck,

I'm very pleased to hear that they took good care of you, found the problem, and you are back home on the mend.

You'll be back in 5th gear in no time at all,...

Take care,

Chuck,

As I noted before, I love your uplifting spirit. I wish I could ship my Ruf over to you for a 'speedy' recovery. You think Fed-X might be able to help?

Get well soon big guy. And billion (like 700 billions) hugs from your family. Have a great holiday season and a happy, healthy and wealthy new year.

Great news! Thanks for keeping us updated. The original post had us all pretty scared, and I for one always said a small prayer when I saw one of your subsequent posts.

Best wishes for a speedy / full recovery
