Default 993/Cayenne

A post on another forum makes me wonder--

How many of us share this combination of a 993 and a Cayenne?

A love both and kinda feel like the combo is the best of both worlds....

I had an 06 Cayenne S Titanium. Honestly, I like my current Range Rover much better.

I was considering buying a Cayenne when I got my X5 a couple of years ago but I just couldn't justify the extra dough.... shame I didn't wait until now with prices the way they are!

I have a Cayenne and 993. Very different animals--but I really like the Cayenne for its intended use (golf clubs, home depot trips, going to dinner with friends). On a sunny day, the 993 cab is perfect--unless you and 3 friends are heading to the golf course together.

I am currently looking at a Cayenne GTS 6 speed. Just trying to decide if the space is enough for the family.

I have a Ranger Rover also. The 993 and the RR both are old school. The sound their doors make are similar. Mechanical, metalic, unlike most newer cars.

Thumbs up 993 / Cayenne S Owner!

I love my Cayenne S and 993 Cab. as well. For those who bought the X5 and Range Rover, keep rationalizing that = "Porsche, there is no substitute"!

BTW, the Cayene would be just as roomy as the Q7 and excellent for a growing family.

I saw U Larry...

Im prefectly content with my 2005 Navigator and like the space. The Navigator I put around in (especially after 24" of fresh powder in the mountains and 7" at my house) , the Bronco is my mountain convertible in the spring/summer/and fall, and the C4 fix when Im not driving the other 2. Then the Mazda CX7--my girlfriend drives it.

Had a 2006 Cayenne Turbo S pass me on a long strait at a track day. I was just breaking 140 and he slowly overtook and passed. I figured I would be stuck behind him in the turns but it was all I could do to stay with him. Professional driver with a 500 hp suv - simply amazing. I still can't figure out why there was no significant body roll. Met him in the paddock he was using it as a tow vehicle for his cup car which developed issues. So since he was there and paid for Sunday unhook the tow and go.
