I have been with Hagerty for a few years and their rates are reasonably low.

I pay:

97 TT $1,200 w/ $75K agreed value
89 930 $750 w/ $50K agreed value
99 C43 $350 w/ $15K agreed value
72 500 $150 w/ $15K agreed value

All cars have $500 deductible. All vehicles would be proportionally cheaper if I lowered the agreed values.

I want to throw in another plug for Hagerty. I've used them for several years for various 356's and I was delighted when they changed their programs and allowed me to insure my 993's. The "agreed value" is a wonderful type of policy. When you insure with a typical policy and a typical insurance company, if you have an incident you're going to start a very interesting discussion as to what your 993 is worth. With the agreed value policy, that is taken care of at the start. If you have a $50,000 993, you insure it for 50k!
I had a friend whose 356 was totaled, and when the other driver's insurance balked at paying what it was worth, Hagerty stepped up and wrote the check.

Now I'm at about $550/yr. for full coverage with a $500 ded. on an agreed value of $25K, and my liability umbrella covers the car. They say it's for "cars driven less than 3500 miles" (which covers my garage queen), but the policy itself has no mileage stipulations in it. No conditions about driving it to work either - that would kill me as I do that once in a great while, and if I go into the office on a weekend,
that's the car I'm taking.

I'd be curious how much better I could do somewhere else. Every penny counts these days - you have to save it for
Thanks, for sharing that info, I was wondering what the "ballpark" prices are.

Would totally agree with this. I'll have been with them for 42 years in May including the three years I lived in London, where I had a local number to call them if needed. No complaints whatsoever.
