Default Euro rear corners?

Tried to do a search; no luck.

I'm curious how many people have put on Euro style rear corners.

I've ordered some Euro clear fronts and thought about doing the rears, too. According to the CA DMV, both are legal: "24953. (a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light visible to the rear."

But I'm not sure about how the rears look and if they are even an 'improvement' at all.

I 'shopped' a Euro spec corner on a pic just to try to get an idea. Maybe it looks better stock?

It's funny how some in the US would rather have Euro spec and some in Europe would rather have US spec.

I like the Euro rear lights. The orange corners break up the big solid red line running across the back of the car. YMMV.

I personally prefer the red signal lights...I put US rears on my Euro-spec cab and TT. The ambers are so 80's IMHO

You take the amber corners off the front and then move them to the rear?

I traded my US versions for a set of Euros a couple years ago, the grass IS greener for both of us it seems.

Actually on some cars I prefer the reds, for some reason I always liked the amber on white cars

Even more funny when you consider the fact that in Europe only the RWD versions had amber corners.
The 4WD cars corners were red at the rear and clear at the front. The lights behind the corners are always amber though; at the rear of a 4WD 993 you will see an amber turn signal behind a red corner.

I didn't know that. Good info. Thanks!

I think it depends on the color of the car for the rears to be amber. I kinda like them with the silver. I used to be anti-amber on the rears, but my taste is maybe changing a little.

I like the white/clear up front on any color/any car.

I actually like the solid red line all the way across the back. I think it visually amplifies the width of the rear fenders. I also prefer blonde women, and dark beer, so I guess it's a personal choice thing...

I like the solid red look on the rear and the solid clear turn signals for the front.
