Clueless clutch slippage
Hey Gents-- hoping for some light and advice. My 96' c4 clutch is slipping at 50,000 miles and seems that I need to replace it. Lightweight flywheel seems a great option. Any brands better than others? Anything else I should do while in there? Will I need a chip to make it work better? And, finally, will the LWF affect the AC? Thanks!

Hi,
The only replacement clutch package besides the factory OEM one to use should be the factory RS LWF/clutch kit. We always replace the slave cylinder, too.
No special software is needed. Your engine will adapt very nicely as long as the Idle Stabilizer valve is nice & clean,... Sometimes, these can stall with the A/C on, but I've found that it varies from car to car.
I do stock those kits, if that helps.
